Ryan, I am really impressed with your fractal artworks! For some time now, I wish to get to know fractal art a bit more... May I ask you which programs do you use for achieving such wonderful storm-like effects with DOF, fogs and such? I've tried Mandelbulb3d, but I am not sure if it is capable of producing something like this.

Thanks! I haven't logged in for while.. hopefully you found some good programs in the meantime. Mandelbulber makes some great images. Mine were made with a program I wrote myself. You can use it here if Java is installed in your browser:

It is slow.. but if you leave it for around 30 min you will have a rough image. It will be refined better and better the longer it runs.
